Command & Conquer Red Alert

Command and Conquer Red Alert is a RTS game involving 2 factions, the ''Allied'' and the ''Soviet'' the storyline is played in a alternate time-line.
Before the time of World War 2, Albert Einstein creates a time machine which he uses to go back in time and eliminate Adolf Hitler out of existence, when he comes back to his present time, he realises that he has made a grave mistake and that World War 2 has started, not by the germans, by the Russian Federation ''Soviets''. There was no army to stand up against the Russians because of the non existent Hitler. This game involved a battle between The Allies (Europe) vs The Russians (Soviet). This game has the best storyline I have ever heard.

On the PC Version (Yes there is a playstation 1 version too) You can choose which points of the map you want to attack. Im sure you have guessed who is who, Blue are the Allies and Red is Soviet.
